The Redbourne Group launches Harmony Web, Innovative CCMS Software, at the National FDC Conference, Oct 2015.

The Redbourne Group will launch new Harmony Web at the National FDC Conference, at Luna Park, in October 2015, after six months of comprehensive testing by a number of Services.

Innovative CCMS Software

The popular CCMS software used by thousands of Family Day Care Services and Educators across Australia provides a raft of new, much needed capabilities for the sector, many of them industry firsts – most notably being a cloud-based solution that provides anytime, anywhere access.

“The new Harmony Web has evolved out of many consultations and discussions within the FDC community, we listened and now we can offer software that meets the needs of Family Day Care Services and Educators,” said Redbourne Group’s Managing Director, Stephen Menhinnitt.

This web-only software program sports a new easy-to-use interface, improved connectivity and file management – and for the first time, both Services and Educators will use the same software program. The new look software provides a better way of working and managing day-to-day tasks along with the advantages of web access for convenience, security and availability.

Harmony Web will also include optional modules – Educator Management, Parent Portal, Quality, Placement, Notes and Tasks, Library and Forms and Program and Practices. The inclusion of these modules will ensure the diverse needs of FDCs are met.

3 Main Design Objectives

According to Stephen, the new improvements addressed three main objectives:

  1. Reducing the workload and costs of administration
  2. Providing the home-based education and care sector with modern business tools to meet the ever changing demands of running a business
  3. Providing a platform where everything a home-based service or educator needs to do is in one place.

Mr Menhinnitt said, “These developments have come about due to our own innovation, wide consultation and input. Likewise, the pricing structure offers various subscription levels to cater for individual Service / Educator preferences. The pilots that have been operating with Harmony Web find the software easy to pick up and logical. Services are showing a huge interest in getting onto the new Harmony Web. We are launching and as with all new software we will be working closely with our installed base over the coming months.”
